• We have respect for past and present members which includes no verbal or social media type of defamation of character.
• We agree to embrace and promote the qualities of honesty, integrity, and respect for all members.
• We will not initiate or foster any action deemed to be detrimental to the group.
• We will treat one another and our customers with the utmost of dignity and respect.

Membership

Membership is limited to one company per classification of goods sold or services provided. Members must be operating a full-time business.  Members can only represent one business/category.  Membership is by referral only. Once referred, a proposed member may attend a meeting as a guest. Any objections to a proposed membership must be made immediately. The objection of any member is sufficient to bar membership.

Attendance

A member company shall be represented at the meetings by a person holding an executive or decision making position in the business. Such person shall not miss more than 2 meetings per quarter. If a member is unable to attend, a pre-approved substitute may attend on their behalf. Please contact Chairperson in advance for approval.

If a member does not meet the required attendance in a quarter, they will receive a written warning. If a member does not meet the attendance requirement twice in any 12 month period they may lose their position in the group. With permission of the group, they may attend as a guest, unless their spot is filled by another company. If a guest member meets the attendance requirements for three consecutive quarters they may re-apply for regular membership.  RSVP regrets to Secretary as soon as as you know you will be missing a meeting.  RBC Places requires 5 business days notice for attendance changes.

Presentations

Members will be on a roster to present. Members must be in good attendance standing to present.  New members will be added to the rotation schedule after attending 4 meetings.

Unless a presenter requests otherwise, please refrain from asking questions during the presentation.

Be Kind – no talking or using cell phones during presentations.

Guests/New Members

Members must request approval from the President to invite guests.

Members may bring partners, employees, or spouses anytime.  Please let the President know by Monday the week of the meeting if they are attending.

Ownership Changes/Member Resignation

Membership is held with the individual, not the company. Should a company change ownership/management or a member resigns, the position will be considered open for new referrals.  If there is not a waiting list for the position, the new owner/manager may apply for membership.

Referrals and Business to Business Meetings

Members agree to set a personal monthly goal to refer at least one member and to meet with at least one member for a Business to Business (B2B) meeting.

Referrals are not mandated, but they are tracked to demonstrate the success of the group.

Conflict Resolution

Should a problem arise between members, please inform President and an attempt to resolve will be made. Failure to resolve a conflict will result in a council meeting and recommendations will be given to both parties. Failure to cooperate may result in a membership being cancelled. If a member receives three complaints, it may result in membership being cancelled.
