Lisa McIntosh presented at our last meeting. Lisa is a Care Designer at Nurse Next Door. Nurse Next Door is a private home care provider. Their philosophy is “Happier Aging” and their goal is to help their clients stay in their homes while providing everything from companionship (and fun) to health care.
They want to change the perceptions of aging and believe that getting older doesn’t have to feel sad or helpless; instead, aging is something worth celebrating! They strive to bring back the things that their clients used to love to do!
